This English version is provided for convenience; the German version is legally binding. This site is deliberately simple: no cookies, no cookie-based tracking, no embedded third-party content. Fonts are served from my own server; no connection to Google Fonts or other external services is established.

Hosting and server log files

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you access the site, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is not merged with other data sources and serves solely the secure and stable operation of the site.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the site securely). Transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses; Vercel is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any cookies. The only exception is your language choice (German/English): it is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) as a technically necessary setting so the site appears in the same language on your next visit. This information never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to me or to third parties.

Audience measurement (Vercel Web Analytics)

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure anonymously which pages are visited and how often. No cookies are set and no cross-device profiles are created; visitors are counted only via a non-reversible hash that changes daily, and the IP address is not stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement). More information: vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.

Fonts

The fonts used (Cormorant, Jost) are hosted on my own server. No data is transmitted to third parties when the fonts are loaded.

Contact by email

If you write to me by email, your details (email address, name, content of the message) are stored for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions. I do not pass this data on without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Calendly

The site links to my profiles on Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company), and to Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) for booking appointments. These are plain links, not embedded content – no data is transferred to these providers when you visit this site. Only once you follow a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply; if you book via Calendly, Calendly processes the data you enter there.
